COVID -19 Travel Regulations For Entering Ukraine

Passengers arriving from or who in the past 14 days have stayed for at least 7 days in India are not allowed to enter:

  • This does not apply to:
  • nationals and residents of Ukraine;
  • spouses and children of nationals of Ukraine;
  • passengers with a diplomatic passport.

 

Passengers must have a negative COVID – 19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before arrival.

For foreign citizens, there is no possibility to do the PCR test in Ukraine or self-isolate. 

  • This does not apply to:
  • nationals of Ukraine;
  • permanent residents of Ukraine;
  • passengers younger than 12 years;
  • passengers with a diplomatic passport;
  • NATO military personnel.

 

Passengers must have insurance issued by an insurance company registered in Ukraine or a foreign insurance company that has a representative office in Ukraine or a contractual relationship with an insurance company – a partner on the territory of Ukraine (assistance) and covers the costs related to the treatment of COVID-19, observation, and is valid for the entire period of stay in Ukraine.

  • This does not apply to:
  • nationals of Ukraine;
  • permanent residents of Ukraine;
  • passengers with a diplomatic passport;
  • merchant seamen;
  • NATO military personnel.

 

Nationals of Ukraine without a negative COVID – 19 PCR test result of a test taken at most 48 hours before arrival:

  • Are subject to self-isolation and
  • Must install the “VDOMA” mobile app.

        At this time you do not need the vaccine to travel into Ukraine. Distribution is not available to everyone right now. Since the vaccine is not able to be distributed to everyone Ukraine is not requiring visitors to have it for entry. 

A number of nationalities enjoy visa exemption for up to 90 days within a 180-day period, including those from the following sovereign states:
